Prior to 2007 our organization didn’t have very many vehicles, however in 2007 we were awarded a 5 year contract for hauling a raw material to the locally located cement plant. Several semi-trucks and trailers were purchased and nearly overnight, we were in the trucking business!

As time passed and more and more people saw the trucks on the road, it become more clear to us that there existed a potential opportunity to keep more trucks busy hauling in the local market. So, a few more trucks were purchased along with a few different trailers and the trucking division grew. Additional pieces were added here and there along the way including fuel trucks, tandems, low boys, end dumps, and float trailers. The entire fleet grew and in 2009 expanded to the Heavy Haul market when we purchased a brand new Heavy Hauler and Low Boy. The acquisition of this rig gave us the ability to not only heavy haul for others, but gave us the ability to move all our own equipment from job to job as well.

In 2014 we acquired CTC Trucking in Florence, Colorado. CTC had 2 semis, 3 tandems, a tandem axle water truck, a lube truck, a single axle tandem, and 3 trailers. The acquisition also included a shop with an office and a piece of land big enough to park everything on. So, in early 2014 our fleet of trucks & trailers grew dramatically and we moved our entire organization to Florence, Co.

With the newly acquired shop came the ability to perform our own scheduled maintenance as well as giving us a place to perform major repairs on everything the company owns. We eliminated our yearly fixed cost mechanic bills and hired two full time mechanics that now perform all maintenance and repairs to the fleet as needed.

Since the purchase of CTC Trucking, a few more trailers have been added to the fleet as well as a few more trucks. We are now capable of hauling nearly every under the sun with an emphasis on aggregates and aggregate related commodities. Langston Concrete Inc. now owns and operates 11 semi-trucks, 6 tandem dump trucks, 4 service trucks, 3 water trucks, & 8 company pick-ups. The trailers include 3 floats, 5 vans, 3 lowboys, 6 end dumps, 2 material handlers, 3 belly dumps, and roughly 10 bumper pulls & 10 goosenecks.

Another recent addition of a gravel pit has allowed us several opportunities to utilize our fleet of trucks and trailers even more. So now, not only can we haul material for others, but we produce it and haul it for ourselves now. Check out or gravel pit page for more information on the landscape rock we sell as well as several other things.
